Whistler Olympic Park Update

Starting September 1, Whistler Olympic/Paralympic Park will be closed to the public to allow for safe and efficient Games preparations including equipment load-in and overlay construction.
Access up the Callaghan Valley Road will be restricted for the month of February.
Cross-country skiing opportunities will continue this winter with the majority of trails in the Callaghan Valley open to the public for most of the winter. Approximately 30 kilometres of Whistler Olympic Park’s trail system and all of Callaghan Country’s 42 kilometres of trails will be open from November 21, 2009 to January 31, 2010 and again from March 1 to April 18, 2010. Access to the recreational and backcountry trails in the valley will be
via the Callaghan Country base, as Whistler Olympic Park
will be closed to the public this winter.
