Blackcomb Mountain has a very unique alpine eco system that reflects hundreds of years of undisturbed meadows and tarns. This tour will bring you back to the dynamic formation of the Coast Mountains, its geology and glaciology. You will be taught about the alpine flora and fauna of the area, and you’ll enjoy spectacular views of the Fitzsimmon Range, Overlord Glacier and the Spearhead.

| Ridge Walk - From High Above |
A unique way to embrace the whole panorama of the entire region from high above. Starting from an elevated point along Blackcomb Mountain, the Ridge Walk will make your jaw drop.
On this trip you'll enjoy breathtaking views of the Fitzsimmons Range on one side and the rugged glaciated terrain towered by peaks on the other.

| The Spearhead Hike - A Glacier Close-up |
This hike brings you into the famous "Spearhead Range" where you will experience the real "grandeur" of the Garibaldi Provincial Park.
You'll hike through alpine gardens, cross some pristine creeks to finally reach an amazing glacier. Led by our guide you will venture closer to the ice and discover its exceptional glaciated formations and ice features.

We have more than a dozen alpine hikes to choose from, including the famous Black Tusk in the Garibaldi Provincial Park, the astonishing Matier Glacier in the Joffre Lakes Provincial Park, and Cayoosh Mountains known for their mountain goat habitats.
These hikes take you through pristine alpine lakes and meadows with views on glaciers.
Our trips are generally between six to eight hours long depending on the trails chosen with elevation gain up to 1000 meters (3,000 ft).
We provide a day pack with lunch, snacks and beverages.
