Avalanche Skills Training Level 1
Avalanche awareness is a necessity for anyone skiing, boarding and traveling in the mountains during the winter. Our goal with this course is to help you recognize winter hazards and understand the basics of evaluating snow stability. Topics such as weather, snow pack, terrain, route finding, use of a transceiver and rescue techniques will be covered. One evening and two field days will cover all the information you need to travel safely in winter. More info...

You are a backcountry ski lover and you want to put the odds on your side by improving your skills in decision making, map reading, route finding, terrain evaluation, snow profile interpretation and rescue techniques. This is the training for you. Two days on Whistler-Blackcomb backcountry and two days in a remote backcountry hut. More info...
